As the CJU16 content director, I’m excited to share with you a whirlwind tour of the strategy and inspiration we’re bringing to the stage with our educational sessions.
This year we have 10+ sessions formed along three different tracks: Strategy, Customer Engagement, and of course, Innovation. In this write up, I’ll provide details on our sessions’ topics to help you plan your CJU16 schedule in advance. Use the “Add to My Agenda” button on CJ Universe to add these sessions to your CJU schedule.
Go behind the scenes at CJ Affiliate and you’ll see that it takes more than a village to foster innovation in a modern tech company….it takes partners! Partnership director Ronan Vance and Senior Engineer Liz Hurley show how a new approach to partnerships and teams has created a launch pad that fuels network growth. This session has such an important message for our clients that we’re offering it on two days of CJU. You won’t want to miss How a Culture of Collaboration Fuels CJ Innovation.
What does innovation in the affiliate channel look like?Publishers and advertisers should both attend the following session to find out!Four fresh and emerging publisher talents will present their business pitches at CJU. Come learn how affiliate is evolving to engage consumers beyond the desktop and via televisions, social channels, and overseas. Track: Customer Engagement
Curious about how cross-device usage is impacting your affiliate program? We know you are! Get schooled on cross-device’s impact and CJ’s future click path reporting and how to put it to use. Attend Cross Device & the Path to Conversion with Product Manager Deirdre Peters to get updated on these topics.
Plan for success with bloggers by attending Take It to the Next Level with Bloggers. Attendees will walk away from this session created by Jessica Woodbury and Zoe Pedziwiatr with a new perspective on how to work with influence marketers as well as learn more about CJ’s own on-going efforts to raise the bar in influencer marketing within affiliate.
This session could also be titled “Affiliate Strategy 301 (Advanced Level)”. Prerequisites include: a general interest in growing new customer rates, in-store sales, and achieving better insights with data. Come hear panelists share some of the strategies they’ve used to achieve hyper-focused goals. You Need Affiliate To Do What?! kicks off the strategy track at 1pm on Wednesday.
Take charge with this next session! Agency founder Jamie Birch taps his 20 years of experience to share ways that affiliate managers can proactively sell affiliate’s opportunity to others. Control how the affiliate channel is measured, perceived, and valued within your company by attending Selling Affiliate: 5 Ways to Do It Right.
Bringing our strategy track to a close on Wednesday is Leveraging Affiliate’s Cross-Channel Nature with speaker Geno Prussakov, an industry consultant and thought-leader. Geno created an entirely new session for CJU attendees that shows how harnessing the truly massive opportunity of affiliate reach begins with understanding its true nature. He will explore how this can lead to a more diverse mix of publishers in any program.
As you can see, there really is no shortage of expertise in this year’s sessions. In addition to amazing networking opportunities, you will walk away from CJU16 with a more robust and refined knowledge of the affiliate space.
